Pauline Mendoza, Ashley Ortega, Vaness del Moral, and Carmina Villarroel star in newest GMA primetime series 'Widows' Web'

GMA Network upholds its tradition of producing world-class and quality drama series as it brings together versatile and highly-talented actors to star in a breathtaking murder-mystery show that will surely keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Widows' Web follows the mysterious death of Alexander Sagrado III, or AS3. Xander's demise leads to the undercover investigation of Elaine Innocencio, a former hotel employee, as she believes that her fiancé, Frank Querubin, was wrongly accused of the crime.

To prove to herself her fiancé's innocence and find the real culprit behind the mystery, Elaine applies as an assistant at the Sagrado Foundation, where she meets three women who were part of Xander's life: his older sister, Barbara Sagrado-Dee, his grieving wife, Jackie Antonio-Sagrado, and Hillary Suarez, Jackie's friend and business colleague.

Leading the cast of this upcoming series are four of GMA Network's brightest actresses: Pauline Mendoza, Ashley Ortega, Vaness del Moral, and Carmina Villarroel.

Joining the cast of Widows' Web are Adrian Alandy, EA Guzman, Christian Vasquez, Allan Paule, Tanya Gomez, Arthur Solinap, Karenina Haniel, Mosang, Dave Bornea, Mike Agassi, Neil Coleta, Josh Morales, and Ryan Eigenmann in a special guest role as Alexander Sagrado III.

The show also introduces young Kapuso stars Anjay Anson and Vanessa Peña.

Widows' Web is the first Kapuso project of esteemed director Jerry Sineneng.

This primetime offering is under the helm of Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, First Vice President for Drama Productions Redgie A. Magno, Senior Assistant Vice President for Drama Productions Cheryl Ching-Sy, Senior Program Manager Helen Sese, Executive Producer Kaye Cadsawan, and acclaimed director Jerry Sineneng.

The creative team of the show is composed of Creative Director Aloy Adlawan, Creative Consultant RJ Nuevas, Head Writer Ken de Leon, writers Anna Aleta Nadela and Jimuel Dela Cruz, and brainstormers Louize Al-Shehri and Abner Tulagan.
